To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the end of Queen Victoria’s reign, take a closer look at an object in the Wallace Collection associated with one of the longest ruling monarchs.
In this talk, join Curator Dr Lucy Davis to consider a portrait of the teenage Queen Victoria by English-born American artist Thomas Sully. Reflect on Sully’s descriptions of the Queen, as recorded in his journal, and decide for yourself if this is a true likeness.
Places are limited and allocated first-come, first-served on the day.
