We are open daily from 10.00–17.00.
Entry to the permanent collection is free. We close on 24, 25 and 26 December each year.
General Information
- Grayson Perry: Delusions of Grandeur will be closed between 10.00-11.30 BST on 6, 13, and 27 May 2025 and between 10.00-11.15 BST on 4, 11, 17 and 24 June 2025; 1, 8, and 15 July 2025; 16, 17, 29 and 30 September 2025; and 1, 6, 7, 8 October 2025.
- Our restaurant and café will close at 16.00 on Wednesday 9 April 2025.
- Parts of the museum may close at short notice. The 16th-Century Gallery will be closed 4-7 August 2025. Arms & Armour IV will be closed on 22-25 April 2025. The Smoking Room will be closed 23-24 April 2025.
