We are open

The Wallace collection is currently open from 10am-3pm daily.

From Thursday 1 October, the Collection will be open from 10am-4pm daily.

The Wallace Collection is a national museum in London with free admission to our permanent collection.

We are conveniently located near Oxford Street, Baker Street and Marylebone Village in Central London:

Visiting by Bus

Numbers 2, 10, 12, 13, 30, 74, 82, 94, 113, 137, 274 all stop nearby.

Visiting by Tube

The nearest tube stations are Bond Street, Baker Street & Oxford Circus, which are all around a 10-15 minute walk away.

Visiting by Rail

Marylebone Rail Station is approximately a 10-15 minute walk away.

Parking

Parking on nearby streets is metered until 6.30pm. A selection of car parks can be found nearby.

There is one accessible parking spaces available on site, as well as two parking spaces for Blue Badge holders in Manchester Square and others in nearby streets. See our map of local parking including Blue Badge parking here.

Access

For visitors with an Assistance Dog, Marble Arch is the nearest tube station with stairs.

All public areas in the museum are wheelchair accessible. There is a lift to all floors with voice announcer. Remote door openers are available from the Information Desk. There is a sloped driveway up to the front entrance with ramp access to entrance and exit doors. Both of these double doors are automatic. Please be aware that a queuing system is in place to help maintain social distancing.

All items will be thoroughly cleaned between each user.

Public toilets are on the lower ground floor under the restaurant. There is an accessible lavatory with a panic button and audio visual alarm. The nearest Changing Places toilet is in Paddington Station.

Regular Tours

Unfortunately we are not currently able to offer our regular programme of free highlights tours. Please check our Online Talks and Courses page for details of current online events.

Cloakroom

Unfortunately the cloakroom is currently closed. Small bags and handbags are still allowed in the galleries, however we are not able to accommodate large bags or luggage.

Photography

Photography without flash for personal use is permitted within the galleries. No photography is permitted of temporary exhibitions or of items on loan to the Wallace Collection.

To ensure we provide the best experience for all of our visitors, any photography or videography that involves the use of professional camera equipment i.e. tripod, lights, microphones, and/or costumes and props, or which is undertaken for profit, monetary value or personal benefit without prior written consent is prohibited.

Filming

Filming is not allowed in the galleries without prior permission and supervision from our gallery staff.
