An afternoon of storytelling with educator Jon Sleigh, for people living with dementia and their carers or companions.
Few artists in the Wallace Collection can rival Canaletto, whose famous views of Venice are dense with detail and structure. But what are the secrets behind all those lines? Are these pictures ‘real’, or is there some artistic licence at play? Our storytelling tour explores a room full of Canaletto, the artist’s life and times, and a few surprises along the way.
Back in the Learning Studio, over tea and coffee, we weave strips of paper into a masterpiece of our own.
The session is relaxed and unhurried. No previous experience is needed and all materials are supplied.
Free but booking is essential. Our workshops often have long waiting lists, so if you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible and we will offer your place to someone else. Click here to book.
