In the Development Office, we are dedicated to promoting the Wallace Collection and encouraging support for its collection.
Sarah Harmer, Director of Fundraising
Sarah’s role is to lead on strategy and development in the department, and in particular, to raise funds for the Collection’s endowment. Before joining the Wallace Collection, she worked as Development Director at Selwyn College, Cambridge. Her favourite work of art in the Collection is the Statuette of Hercules by Francesco da Sant' Agata.
Eva Cappon, Development Officer (Trusts and Foundations)
Eva works with Corporates, Trusts and Foundations which support the museum. She studied History of Art at The University of Cambridge and the Courtauld Institute. As she is Dutch, she has a specific interest in art from the Netherlands and her favourite work of art in the Wallace Collection is Michiel van Mierevelt’s Portrait of a Lady.
Lauren Turner, Development Officer (Individual Giving)
Lauren works with the Benefactors, individual donors and legacy giving at the Wallace Collection. Before joining the team, initially as a maternity leave cover in January 2016, Lauren worked in the Old Masters & British Paintings department at Christie’s auction house and studied History at The University of Oxford. Lauren’s favourite piece in the collection is Caspar Netscher’s The Lace Maker.
Marine Farcy, Development Assistant
Marine works with the Friends of The Wallace Collection and supports the team with the administration. She previously worked in the Director's office. Some of her favourite works are by Bonnington.
