What power do portraits have? Which creative choices do portrait artists make? How do portraits shape our personal, public and community identity? Explore famous and intriguing portraits in the Wallace Collection through questioning, discussion and short creative tasks. Students will consider the impact and meaning of the portraits today and collect ideas for further exploration in the classroom.
This workshop can also be delivered in British Sign Language by a Deaf museum educator.
