The Collection
As one of Britain’s preeminent cultural institutions, the Wallace Collection is home to one of the most significant ensembles of fine and decorative arts in the world.
Highlights include oil paintings by artists such as Titian, Velazquez, Rubens and Van Dyck; princely arms and armour; eighteenth-century French paintings and decorative arts; and superb medieval and Renaissance objects, including Limoges enamel, maiolica, glass and bronzes.

Conservation
Our Conservation department is responsible for the preservation and conservation of all the works of art within the Museum, ensuring they are safeguarded for present and future generations, whilst reflecting the Collection’s policy of minimum intervention.
Research & Publications
In line with our goal of researching the permanent collection and introducing it to a broad and diverse public, the museum maintains an active publications programme. Its monographs and exhibition and collection catalogues provide in-depth studies of various aspects of our holdings.
These beautifully produced volumes are frequently complemented by digital explorations into related areas. Written by in-house curators and external experts, these print and digital publications represent the culmination of years of scholarly investigation.
