The woman behind the bequest: Lady Wallace in the Library and Archives

Continuing our celebration of Lady Wallace’s bicentenary, join us for an evening exploring our benefactress through the objects in our archive and the books in our library. Curator Suzanne Higgott, author of the recent biography of Sir Richard Wallace, will give a talk exploring Lady Wallace’s life in France and England before and after Sir Richard’s death. Bringing out records from the Hertford-Wallace Family archive, she will throw new light on this enigmatic woman and help bring her back into the spotlight.
