The first of our series of talks celebrating the partnership between Manolo Blahnik and the Wallace Collection will start with a discussion focusing on a shared passion between Manolo Blahnik and Wallace Director Dr Xavier Bray: the celebrated Spanish artist, Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes (1746-1828). Both will be joined by esteemed colleagues and friends; Dr Manuela Mena Marques, former Chief Curator of Spanish Eighteenth-Century Paintings and Goya at the Prado Museum in Madrid, and expert fashion historian Dr Aileen Ribeiro, Professor Emeritus, Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
Your ticket includes an exclusive after-hours view of the exhibition An Enquiring Mind: Manolo Blahnik at the Wallace Collection and a glass of wine. The exhibition and drinks will be available from 5.30pm to 7pm only. The panel discussion will begin at 7pm sharp.
