Description: Acclaimed for paintings in which she adopts the language of Rococo, join artist Flora Yukhnovich as she discusses her work and inspiration with Wallace Collection Director, Dr Xavier Bray. Includes the opportunity to experience new works by the artist in VR, with virtual and augmented reality specialists, Vortic. 

About the Speaker: Flora Yukhnovich reimagines the dynamism of 18th-century artists such as Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, François Boucher, Jean-Honoré Fragonard and Jean-Antoine Watteau through a filter of contemporary cultural references including film, food and consumerism. Born in 1990, Yukhnovich completed her MA at the City & Guilds of London Art School in 2017. She has exhibited at Victoria Miro, where she is represented, GASK, the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic, the Jerwood Gallery Hastings and at Leeds Arts University, UK.  

Take part at the Museum: Join us at the museum for this special event, followed by a drinks reception and opportunity to visit Inspiring Walt Disney: The Animation of French Decorative Arts, alongside VR demos until 20.45.
