Find out how the Wallace Collection can support your learners in accessing a rich, broad and balanced curriculum. Learn how our workshops bring historical portraits to life, or discover what armour can teach us about dressing safely. Experience how working with museums can help you evidence student engagement with cultural capital.
This session is for special school staff working with learners with SEND. The workshop will take place in the museum, starting with a talk by Paul Morrow. Paul is Lead Practitioner of the Creative Arts at Westminster Special Schools, author of Cultural Inclusion for Young People with SEND: Practical Strategies for Meaningful Inclusion in Arts and Culture, and co-author of the Cultural Inclusion Manifesto. Afterwards, explore the galleries with artist and anti-ableist educator Marc Woodhead. Afterwards, enjoy a discussion with colleagues over refreshments.
