Gallery session on Monday 24 February 2020. For home-educated students aged 12-16. BOOK FROM DECEMBER 2019.

Duration 4 hours (10.30am-3pm).

(Please note that on Monday 24 February, we will also be running a Technologies and Techniques session for students aged 7-11. Duration 3.5 hours (10:30-14:00).

Students need to bring their own sketch/workbooks. Artist quality materials provided. Learn new drawing techniques and hone observational skills to produce work that will maximise the effect of sketch or workbooks. Skills covered include annotation of sketches, quick fire drawing, making best use of the page, and how to make changes without using a rubber!

Please note:

  • Parents/carers are welcome to accompany pupils to the workshops, but only students of the specified age will be permitted – children of other ages must be taken elsewhere, and you can explore the galleries at leisure with trails.
  • Sessions are free, but a £10 per student deposit will be taken upon booking, and refunded upon attendance of the workshop. Cancellation with less than 14 days’ notice will mean a refund is forfeit.
  • For workshops that involve messy materials, accompanying adults will be expected to assist.
