The Wallace Collection’s stunning courtyard is the glamorous location for Oliver Peyton’s café and brasserie de luxe.
Visitors to the gallery looking for quick coffee, breakfast, light lunch or a fabulously French afternoon tea should head for the café. As well as delicious cakes and pastries, the café serves a range of freshly prepared soups, salads and quiches as well as an array of terrines.
The brasserie modernes offers the very best in seasonal French dishes under the direction of chef de cuisine Olivier Geyer, serving lunch every day and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.The menu has something for everyone and adheres to the principles of true brasserie food – simple and delicious all-day dishes served in a spirit devoid of pretension or affectation. Our menu du jour represents excellent value for money at £19.50 for two courses and £23 for three.As well as classic French dishes, fine cheeses and pâtés are also available alongside platters of oysters, clams, lobster, prawns and crab from the on-display raw bar.

Fine food and art are amongst life’s greatest pleasures. To celebrate the opening of Damien Hirst’s new collection ‘No Love Lost: Blue Paintings by Damien Hirst’, the Wallace Restaurant has created an exclusive private view and dinner package on evenings when the exhibition will not be open to the public.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, from October 14th, art lovers and gastronomes can take advantage of a unique opportunity to escape the madding crowds and explore 25 new paintings. This will be followed by, courtesy of head chef Olivier Geyer, a choice of two fabulously French dinners, a three course set menu and a feasting menu at £45 and £55 respectively.
