Maintenance Work & Room Closures

Due to some technical issues in the East Drawing Room we have been forced to remove the majority of the works of art into European Armoury III. Consequently these works will not be available to view and European Armoury III will be closed until early January. The Wallace Collection apologises for this closure and any inconvenience that this may cause.  If you have any further queries please contact curatorial@wallacecollection.org.

Message from the Director

Dear visitors,

Like most art institutions across the country, the Wallace Collection is affected by substantial budget cuts. As a consequence, we are no longer able to guarantee that all our galleries are open at all times. Gallery closures will remain an exception, and we are trying to keep them to a minimum. If you have a specific interest in an art work displayed in a gallery that is momentarily closed, you are invited to contact our Front Desk. We will always try to provide access.

Thank you for your understanding.

Christoph Vogtherr
