Three greeting cards, each with a design for a suit of armour produced at the Royal workshops at Greenwich in the sixteenth century. The three ornate armours were made for: the Earl of Leicester, Sir Christopher Hatton and the Earl of Worcester.
The original pen and ink drawings by Jacob Halder are taken from an early twentieth-century facsimile of the Almain Armourer’s Album, c. 1587 (V&A).
Each Card measures 12cm x 18 cm. Each set of 3 contains one card of each design.
