Transforming the Dutch Galleries - Video Now Online

After an 18-month refurbishment programme, we are pleased to announce that the Dutch Galleries will be re-opening on 20 March 2012. These three newly refurbished galleries create a fresh architectural language for the display of one of Europe's finest collections of Dutch art. The original height from the time of Sir Richard Wallace has been recreated and new roof lights bring natural light and clear views of the sky into the galleries. Funding Received from DCMS/Wolfson Museums and Galleries Improvement Fund

The Wallace Collection is very pleased to announce it has been chosen as one of the 36 museums and galleries to receive funding through the DCMS/Wolfson Museums and Galleries Improvement Fund. The funds awarded to the Collection will go towards the refurbishment of the twelfth and final domestic room at Hertford House, the East Drawing Room.
