Community & Access
Working in partnership with groups and individuals across London, we have a particularly active Community and Access programme that encourages wider participation in Museum activities.
Current programmes include:
- 'Out of the Frame': outreach for elderly people in care homes and day centres
- 'Birthday Suit': art classes for people affected by homelessness and/or social exclusion
- ESOL Tours: Introductions to the collection
- 'Deaf Visions': Practical art and art history activities in British Sign Language and Sign Supported English. Click here to see the next event
- 'Sensation!': Multi-sensory art events for visually impaired people. Click here to see the next event
- Activities for children aged 5-12 from low socio-economic areas, refugee and asylum seeker children and children with special needs
For information on these and other Community and Access projects contact the Community Education Officer, on 0207 563 9577 or email community@wallacecollection.org.
