This two-day event, at The Queen's Gallery Buckingham Palace and the Wallace Collection, will compare and contrast art and society in eighteenth-century Britain and France. The collecting of the first two Georges and the cultural life in Britain will be compared with the grandeur of Louis XV and the French court.
