Free Event for Young People: Royal Wonders @ the Wallace

Lecturer: Members of the Geffrye Museum's Youth Advisory Panel  

Bring out the Royal in you at a FREE after-hours exclusive event at the Wallace Collection. Designed by young people, for young people.

Get ready for the weekend: have a royal make-over, strike a pose at a photo-shoot, decorate your own masquerade mask, transform yourself into a Royal with the help of a caricaturist, feast on refreshments, and much, much more!

You can drop in any of the following activities throughout the evening between 6.30-8.30pm

 

The Royal Treatment

Back State Room and Hall

Dress up in armour, accessories and gowns, get your make-up done and a photograph taken your to capture your new royal look with We Are Photogirls

 

Regal Ceramics

Education Studio

Be inspired by some of the Wallace’s majestic ceramics and design your own regal vases and tea sets to take home.

 

The Royal Masquerade

Throughout the museum

Decorate your own kingly and queenly masks to wow other guests throughout the evening.

 

Regal Cartoons

Billiard Room

Ask caricature artist Anna Saunders to reveal your inner royalty and re-create you as a drawing to add to today’s royal family’s portrait.

 

Aristocratic Affairs

The Geffrye’s Youth Advisory Panel warmly invite your royal selves to social and mingle with them over drinks and refreshments.
