Tipperary, Ireland, to become Countess of Blessington and one of the leading literary figures in London, before eventually dying, a bankrupt, in Paris. For two years she lived in Manchester Square, and she knew both the 3rd and the 4th Marquesses of Hertford. Her portrait by Lawrence is one of the artist's finest works.
