Stories from the glory days of Greece and Rome have inspired European artists for centuries. And by artists, we don't just mean painters and sculptors, but also makers of ceramics, maiolica, and furniture. This gallery talk will look at how classical themes have been incorporated - sometimes surprisingly, often cunningly, always intriguingly - into a range of works of fine and decorative art across the Wallace Collection.
