Young People: Paint like the old Masters: Two Day Children's Oil Painting Workshop

- Begin by sketching beautiful landscape paintings capturing the weather and the atmosphere. In the studio, inspired by a sumptuous still life, learn oil painting techniques to develop textures and depth. Create a rich colourful painting on canvas board, incorporating your sketches, with animals, people and imagination. You may wish to bring some photos of your favourite things to add to your picture that you will complete on Thursday. Led by artist Alison Kusner. Parents/carers are responsible for their children at lunchtime and the Studio will NOT be available to eat lunch due to materials used (12.30pm – 1.30pm Wed. & Thurs.) Wear old clothes, oil paint will not wash out. The paintings will still be wet when you take them home so bring either an A3 size box or frame to carry your picture home in
